The following net income eligibility standards reflect 100% of the Federal income poverty levels.

Net monthly income is arrived at by determining gross monthly income and then subtracting the following:
- 20% of earned income.
- Standard deduction based on counting only eligible household members in determining household size as follows:
- 1 through 3 person household - $155.00
- 4 person household - $165.00
- 5 person household - $193.00
- 6+ person household - $221.00
- Allowable medical deductions in excess of $35 for elderly or disabled household members.
- Childcare and dependent care costs.
- Child support paid.
- Shelter costs in excess of 50% of net adjusted income. Shelter costs deducted cannot exceed $490.00.
Exception:
Households containing one or more eligible elderly or disabled members are not subject to the shelter deduction maximum of $490.00. Households in which the only elderly or disabled members are excluded are subject to the shelter deduction maximum.
